Revere Beach
Revere Beach is the oldest public beach in the United States, established in 1896 and stretching nearly three miles along Revere Beach Boulevard. The beach draws millions of visitors each summer for swimming, volleyball, and the iconic Revere Beach International Sand Sculpting Festival, held annually in late July and featuring massive competition sculptures that attract crowds of 1–1.5 million over the festival weekend. Kelly's Roast Beef — a Revere institution since 1951 — sits right on the boulevard and is a mandatory stop for any first-time visitor.
Parking along Revere Beach Blvd fills fast on summer weekends and reaches capacity hours before Sand Sculpting Festival events begin, making a charter bus drop-off the cleanest approach for large groups.
